Asheron4Fun Client Setup - acemulator - turbine asheron's call

When you run the installer, make sure to keep all default settings.  Do not change the path that it installs to.

You will extract the .zip that downloads and copy the files to the ( C:\Turbine\Asheron's Call ) folder.  These files will replace the files that are currently in the folder.

  Install Thwarglauncher to its default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Thwargle Games\ThwargLauncher) .

•  Open Thwarglauncher.
•  Click on “Advanced View”. 
•  Click on “Edit Servers”. 
•  Click on “Add Server”. 
  • Enter "Asheron4Fun.com" as the server name.
  • Enter "PVE Server" as server description.
  • Enter "9050" as the server port.
  • Select "ACE Server" at the top of the list.
  • Click "Add".
• Click "Simple View" button to exit the advanced view.

You will use Thwarglauncher to start the game each time.

• Launch Thwarglauncher if it is not already open.
• Select the Asheron4Fun server from the list of servers.
  • Note: There should be a green checkmark next to the server indicating that it is online.  If you see a red X, then please double-check your connection settings in "Advanced View".  If your settings are correct, please contact us for assistance.
• You can set any account name you prefer, as long as it is not already being used.
• Please set a password that you can remember.
• You will use the username/password you set going forward for this account.

 If you’re playing Asheron’s Call on the following Operating Systems.

• Windows 10
• Some Windows 11 installs

You may have an issue with DirectX.  It doesn’t occur for everyone, but for those that get the popup about DirectX failure / errors,  first try this workaround: 

•  When at the Character Selection screen, before clicking on Create Character or Enter World, Press and hold the Alt key, then press the Enter key. 
  •  The game should switch from Full Screen to Windowed mode and continue to work correctly. 
  •  Once you are in the world, you can adjust the game window to be a higher resolution.
